OUR STORY

Brau was born from a very specific need of its founder, Sergi Cabanas, to be able to transport a cargo bike in a comfortable and practical way on public transportation and to be able to store it in small apartments by taking it up in the elevator.

After working on his design for a year in his free time, he decides to make the project a reality and dedicate himself completely, he contacts a workshop in Barcelona specialized in building prototypes and they simplify the design for its manufacture.

 

Once the first prototype was manufactured and having verified the functionality of the concept and the acceptance and interest aroused in the sector, we set out to bring the design to the market, creating the Brau brand for manufacturing small series. 

 

We are a team of bicycle enthusiasts, residents in Barcelona, ​​committed to sustainable mobility. We are convinced that our bicycle can revolutionize the way of getting around cities since it combines the versatility of a folding bicycle with the load capacity of a cargo bike.

 

And we believe that the use of cargo bikes can be generalized in cities since it gives the option of having a cargo bike to all those people who do not have a place to store them or who need to combine their use with intermodality, characteristics lacking in the cargobike market, and this reason prevents them from owning one.
